Cool Werner Bischof images at the Fox Talbot museum taken in the 1940s with a Devin Tri-Color camera - it captured in one shot three different photographs through the colour filters: red, green and blue. So vivid!

5 hours weeding the driveway and I I’m spent. There’s something satisfying about the kind of tiredness you get from gardening - feels like a proper workout.

Had a bit of a meh feeling evening so got up early and tacked the garden before it got too hot. Sometimes you just gotta get you hands in some soil and do some hard graft outside. That and the sunshine and mood already improving. 🌱

Lovely belated birthday present of Issue 2 of FRAMELINES a street/documentary photography magazine πŸ“·πŸ₯°

The Reason Why - really enjoyed listening to this on the drive back - a really entertaining podcast looking at the social issues, hidden history and culture wars in contemporary Cornwall, including the ridiculous cost/unavailability of housing.

Heading back on the long drive from Cornwall today. Enjoyed exploring the St Agnes headland yesterday, Wheal Coates and Towanroath engine house, dotted with mineshafts and 18th century mining ruins, now a UNESCO protected site.

Finished reading: The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman πŸ“š- I’m a big YA fiction fan, and love discovering older sets of books that I can devour much like a complete series on Netflix. A fun fantasy mystery series.

Been very lucky with weather staying down at Watergate Bay - a much needed week of coastal path walking exploring different parts of North Cornwall, doing 10-15km each day.

Exploring micro.blog as a place for short notes, photos and thoughts as opposed to using the big silos of Twitter and Instagram - looking forward to tinkering with some themes for it also.

Started a week off down in Cornwall exploring the North coast yesterday - this was a nice 5 mile stretch of the SW coastal path along to Newquay. Sea Thrift starting to show!
